Notion - Interstitial Journaling

I'm sharing my little 'journal on the go' template with you 🙃

It's the most convenient thing to keep all your random thoughts in one place and jot down your thoughts throughout the day.

Because: It's time to journal in your target language! And no, it doesn't have to be a page long entry! Aiming to write at least one short entry per day, be it a thought, a new word in a context, an expression etc. will surely help you in improving your ability to express yourself in your target language.

It's great to implement into your daily life. Have a thought that just popped up in your head in your target language? Jot it down. Did you randomly remember a vocabulary you learn, jot it down in a sentence and add some context. This type of journaling is less "forceful" or overwhelming and will slowly build up your fluency.

The great thing about each entry is that whenever a "new thought" is added, it automatically creates a timestamp. This is amazing to review and reflect on your writing in the future. Look for patterns in your language use, identify areas where you need to improve, and celebrate your progress.

Each daily entry comes with a toggle where you can enter unknown vocabulary (red for unknown words, and yellow for words you've come across before but couldn't recall or wouldn't have thought of in that context).

And: it's aesthetically pleasing! (at least to me 😉)
